Use the diagram above and select the appropriate dimensions below in the drop down menus to determine what it is you need. Keep in mind when picking the actual uprights and beams, that 3" to 4" are needed between pallets and uprights, and 4" to 6" are needed above the product before the next beam level.

Rack Dimensions

Product that's going on the rack

1 - Overall Pallet Width (in Inches)
2 - Overall pallet Depth (In Inches)
3 - Overall pallet Height with product (In Inches)
4 - Product Weight plus Pallet

Remember to add the appropriate
space around your product.

Sizes of uprights and rack (In Inches)

A - Estimated Upright Height Product Height, plus space, plus beam height. IE.. Product is 50" high, plus 5" space, plus 4" beam height, (bottom level doesn't get a beam and top level doesn't count) = 59", if you want 3 product levels then you would need a (59" x 2 - 4" = 114"+) upright
B - Estimated Upright depth Pallet depth minus needed overhang. IE... If your pallet is 48" deep, then 42" deep upright would be appropriate.
C - Estimated Beam length Product(s) width plus needed spacing
Estimated Load per level Number 4 above x the amount of positions on the level. IE.. 2 positions x 1500 = 3000 lb load rating.
How many Bays are needed? If you're looking for 100 pallet positions and you opt for a configuration like the picture above,(considered 1 bay) then you will need 17 bays. (17 x 6 = 102 positions)
